Simplifying UX through research, expertise, and openness.

Based in Belgium & Greece

I’m Georgios Melissourgos, a PhD candidate at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and wearer of many hats. With a strong focus on research, I’m passionate about understanding why things happen and how to improve them. My background is in informatics, with a specialisation in education and solid foundations in management, statistics, and business economics. Over the past six years, I’ve gained extensive experience working on a variety of projects, ranging from governmental systems to banking applications. I have been involved in projects as a front-end developer, product designer, UX designer, UX researcher, and project manager.

Currently, I am a PhD Candidate in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), my research revolves around UX & usability evaluation and measurement methods (Google Scholar). I run an independent blog where I publish summaries, opinions, and practical information for HCI researchers, practitioners, and enthusiasts. HCI research should be accessible and free; that's why some amazing people and I have built two free tools, one that supports conducting and analysing card sorts, and another for analysing the results of Interaction Experience (IX) questionnaires.

If you’d like to discuss a research idea, your product/service and how we can measure and improve its user experience, or just connect, feel free to reach out.
